Hallelujah! A Solution for Holding an Ice Pack on My Foot After Exercise / Physical Therapy!
I am currently undergoing physical therapy for severe Plantar fasciitis and a bone spur that pokes up into my Achilles tendon. The therapy is designed to stretch and strengthen the surrounding muscles and tendons. So far, it has been pretty effective, with the next step, if the therapy isn't enough, being some serious surgery to remove the bone spur, with downtime in a cast for 16 weeks. The therapy consists of exercises that do cause a bit of pain and discomfort on their own, which requires icing down the ankle and heel area afterwards, just as playing tennis or hiking through the woods, or even going on a long walk requires. The problem with the icing, though, is that the long, narrow ice pack designed to wrap around the foot is quite difficult for me to secure correctly. My Physical Therapist said to put it in a pillowcase and tie it around my foot. I just can't get that to work. I've also tried securing it with an Ace bandage, but that is hard as well, since I am pretty inflexible and tall (this is part of the underlying cause of the Plantar fasciitis and bone spur). After seeing someone in a walking boot, I decided to try ordering one so that I could put the ice pack in the boot, then my foot in the pillow case, then tighten the boot around the ice pack.It works great! I ordered the XL boot even though my foot is a large size. Now I can comfortably wear the ice pack, and even walk around if I feel like it. Now I'm icing more frequently, and this makes doing my Physical Therapy exercises far more comfortable.Pros:• Inexpensive and built for wear outside and inside• Velcro straps and padding hold the ice pack securely• LightweightCons:• None

Does the job, for a price that doesn’t break the bank!
Received promptly. Purchased a size small for my 12 year old boy. He wears a size 8 and it fit. It was a bit loose around the calf area but he is very slim. However, it did come in additional padding to provide support.

Good boot for the price.
I sprained my foot attempting to walk up stairs (graceful, I know!) I ordered this boot and wasn’t sure the size due to no size chart available. I based my sizing on other boot sizing and went with a medium. That was a mistake. The boot is too big, but I have figured out a workaround. Once that was figured out, the boot works great. The straps are very secure and I’m not worried about it coming loose or further injuring my foot. I’ve had it just over a week now and I have no complaints except it does get a bit heavy by the end of the day (as I imagine they all do. I’ve never had to use a boot before). I feel very secure in this boot. I like the lower boot height. It’s less intrusive and blends in more with your clothing than a taller boot would. Overall, I like this boot and recommend it. I would ask the manufacturer to add a size chart to help others avoid buying the wrong size.

Same Day Delv, w/in hrs. of ordering
My honey got this for me due to a fracture. We ordered it "Same Day", it came w/in hours. We were super shocked, However..I was grateful. The boot is SO SOFT and COMPHY!! What a relief. It's a bit heavy to get it on, once you figure out the velcro etc.. you'll be very relieved.I'm not SUPPOSE to walk on my foot but when I do I wear this.I wear it even w/my crutches, in case my foot hits the ground.Slept w/it on one night and it kept my foot nice a safe. I slept on the couch so it wasn't too dangerous for my honey. The cat was freaked out when I started wearing it but they're use to it now.GET THIS!! U WON'T BE SORRY, You'll be comfortable.

This boot is a much cheaper option that they offer at the dr and it does the dame thing!
This boot fit well, it comes with a few extra cushions. I got it for a fractured foot so I like that my ankle can wiggle a bit but if you are looking for something for an ankle issue, this one may not be the right one for you. The plastic was digging into my shin a little but nothing a taller/thicker sock couldn't fix. It does look big but it's nice because if you bump it on something (which you will) it doesn't hurt your sore/broken foot.

Sizing is way off, poorly constructed, bad instructions (which we shouldn't need, but do) and a waste of money. I hate this boot
I was hopeful and figured the negative reviews were buyers too hurried or too stupid to understand how to order or put on the boot. I was wrong. Everything they're saying is true. I ordered the correct size per their instructions. I should have been right in the middle of the range (size 9 foot and got a medium). It's 2" too long.... The instructions are ridiculously small and make no sense. We shouldn't NEED instructions but they've included random little pads that don't stick to anything and one pad that is sewn into a spot on the liner that makes no sense. The bottom rocks - not even which seems like it should be a plus but it's very awkward (and slippery). The velcro straps wrap around way too far and are hard to maneuver (boot is just too big!). The liner is uncomfortable on your shin when walking and the heel is open which was a surprise to me. Just an all around piece of poorly constructed garbage with no directions on how to make the best of the garbage you've been sent. I bought this to replace my longer boot since I'll be traveling and the longer boot isn't good with stairs. This piece of garbage is so bad I'd rather take the stairs slowly and sideways than wear this poorly designed and manufactured junk. Avoid - don't think you're smarter than the bad reviews. The only thing I can figure out is that the positive reviews were from people who previously had been wearing cardboard and scotch tape to protect their foot.A FEW DAYS LATER ------------------Given the fact that I CAN'T RETURN THIS BOOT, I thought I'd give it another try. I waited until I was in the best possible mood to pull it out of the box and give it a go. Looking it at wrapped up nicely again to return (which was a mistake to assume even though Amazon said it handles all returns for items fulfilled by Amazon), the minute I pulled it out of the bag I was reminded what a blood pressure raising menace this boot is. As soon as I reached in to grab the inside of the boot, the 5 (five) random pieces of padding flew out of the boot and landed all around me. I believe that these approximately 3"x3" pieces of foam are intended to be padding and the idea is to insert them somewhere in the boot where you feel you need some extra help. That might not be a terrible idea (just a bad one) if they had put velcro on all of them but instead they decided to save some money and only put velcro on one of them. If they think I'm going to be able to walk around all day without these random foam pads sliding up and out of the boot they are very mistaken. Even with the little random pads, I went ahead and slipped it on my foot to check out how it feels again. Perhaps I can squeeze the straps tight enough to keep the boot in place without the pads. After several steps it became clear the boot was still uncomfortable on my shin and felt loose around my foot. Not only that, after a few steps my wife said "you're going to feel very self-conscious walking around cathedrals in Europe making that sound". I took a few more steps and realized it sounded as though each step I took, someone was ripping the scales off an armadillo - a large angry armadillo. A very loud squeak, velcro ripping sound accompanied every bend of the ankle both forward and backward. So, I gave it a try with an open mind but now I even like the boot less if that was possible.
