Uvistare 25FT Expandable Garden Hose with Water Spray Gun and Solid Brass Fittings Black

Bought this product back at the end of February this year , I have used it and it has been great and loved it until about two weeks ago ...I was out in the garden watering my plants and suddenly heard a loud pop , I looked round and the hosepipe had literally split in two ... I have not used this product daily by any means and always ensured that it has not been caught or dragged on anything as well as storing it as per instructions. As I had thought what a wonderful product it was I contacted the seller to advise that it had broken and how to go about getting a replacement ... I have heard nothing , Amazon got involved and sent an email to them too , again nothing back ... It is now going through Amazon officially to get a refund as the seller still has not been in touch at all . On this point alone I am only awarding 1 star , otherwise would have easily got 4 stars ...hopefully this is a one off unfortunate fault and everyone else who has purchased one of these has not had a similar issue . I have purchased loads of things through Amazon and generally very happy with the product and responses from sellers if there ever has been a problem ( very few and far between ) . For the first time I would never purchase from this seller again and hopefully will get a refund through Amazon themselves so I can purchase a replacement from somewhere else . On a positive Amazon have dealt with this fantastically so far .

This is an ingenious product that reduces the clumsiness of dealing with lengths of regular hosepipe. There is a fabric sleeve around an expandable inner tube with what seem like good quality brass fittings at either end. When you turn on the water, the pressure causes the hose to expand to more than twice its original length. Basically, you only have to store half the length of hose that you use.There are a few drawbacks. You cannot leave the hose turned off only at the useful end. You have to turn it off at the spigot and then drain the hose of water in order to get the benefit of the shorter length. The sprinkler supplied is a great design but is flimsily made and mine leaks quite a lot. The fabric sleeve supplied was visibly scuffed and chafed, which may not matter or may indicate a wear to come.

This has got to be the best hose pipe ever invented! First of all, the sellers: the item arrived less than 24 hours after ordering, well packaged, including easy to understand instructions, which are very important to use this hose effectively. The hose is very lightweight, soft but extremely strong material. It could not kink even if you tried to tie it in a knot. Both ends are encased with brass fittings, with two sizes of width to attach to your tap. Fits very tightly, no more leaks. No need to fiddle about with plastic male/female bits that drive you crazy. This just the hose attached securely to your outside tap. End of. At the other end, the sprayer attachment screws in, again it's tight and secure. At this end of the hose, there's a brass collar which acts as on on/off to water flow. The instructions must be followed - turn the collar tight (this turns off the water flow) and then turn on the tap. This hose inflates to super length in a matter of seconds. Gently turn the collar to allow the water to the sprayer (or remove sprayer if you like) and you're in business. The hose remains light and flexible, and can be used all over a medium sized garden very easily. Finally, a solution to the tyranny of hoselock misery.

Ordered 100ft hose and received it next day. I am extremely happy with the hose, it is lightweight and easy to use. Literally took it out of packaging and attached to garden tap! The reason for 4 stars is because the gun leaked! I really like the different spray options on the gun however very annoying to have a leak running down the hose from the gun, especially when it is brand new. I emailed company and response was fast and effective. A replacement was sent out which I received the following day, and a full refund offered if I had any further trouble. Replacement works fine. Fully recommend this hose and cannot fault customer service!

This is a very good quality expanding hose and very sturdy, however it has one drawback in that the connection to the spray nozzle does not fit standard hozelock fittings and I was unable to connect to my pressure washer and other hozelock accessories. I have searched everywhere to find a fitting that will allow me to connect to hozelock equipment without success, and that is why I am only giving it 3 stars. If you want to use purely as a hose using the sprayer provided then it's OK.

It does what it says in expanding but a larger hose than 100ft should be available. The biggest issue is that the outer layer has already developed a hole so that the latex is bulging out. I guess it is not designed to last.

I bought this solely to connect to my pressure washer.I was concerned by another reviewer saying that they were unable to do so.However, judging by the photos I was certain that I could connect it to my Karcher.I was correct. I had a male brass fitting sourced from the local hardware store for my pressure washer.The hose connected perfectly to the tap and the pressure washer! No leaks as previously.In fact the seal was so good that detaching the hose pipe from the washer water shot out under pressure!I'm so pleased that I can now wash the car simply by hooking a push fit pipe to the washer. Simples.I am very pleased that I have a compact hose pipe that does exactly what I want.

Quality appears to be goodhowever the 100 foot hose is actually nearer to approx 60 foot in reality when fully expandedWe have good water pressure too so the hose should have expanded to its full 100 foot!!!Advertising therefore not quite accurate
