Not perfect but easily my favorite headlamp I've ever owned.
I have had this for a couple years now. It is easily the best headlamp I've ever used. It's bright, lasts hours on a charge, recharges from micro USB, and since I use it while on a mechanics crawler, I clip the battery pack onto the top band just behind the lamp instead of on the back where it feels weird under my head. The straps have retained all of their stretchiness and it stays on your head well, far more than I can say about several others I've bought in the past.I have only a few minor complaints:- bumping the plug from the headlamp to the battery pack will turn the light off, forcing you to push the button again. Not a huge problem but kind of annoying. A less bulky, more reliable connector would be nice.- you can't buy separate battery packs so if you run it out, you have to use another headlamp while waiting for it to charge.- the battery pack is much bulkier than it needs to be. It's just an 1800mah 3.7v lipo prismatic cell with a PCB and some other stuff in a plastic housing. It could be 1/3 the size. Most people likely don't care about this though. After several years of heavy use the battery stopped holding a charge very well, which is to be expected especially since I ran it down to zero charge many times. Since I can solder I just soldered a new one (bought here on Amazon!) In and kept using it. A few days later my father in law accidentally backed a truck over it since I left it in the middle of the driveway while working on a car. This spurred me to both buy a new one (I like this headlamp that much... I've owned 5 or 6 designs over the last 15 years and this is my favorite) and buy materials to build two slim custom battery packs that will run this light.Buy this headlamp. You won't regret it.UPDATE OCTOBER 2022: my second headlamp of this type is now dead. The battery only lasted 5 months (purchased mid May) before shorting internally and refusing to charge. The battery pack is clearly what needs improving on this headlamp, everything else is great. I'll keep building my own battery packs for them I guess. My first one finally had issues with the ratcheting angle adjustment on the LED head after several years of frequent use in a high dust, abrasive environment. I got my money's worth out of it.

Lots more features than some of the others I've looked at.
I've been picking up things here and there for my emergency bag, and needed a headlight. I have a flashlight, but a headlight would allow me to see without having to carry the flashlight. This one has a few features that should come in handy. Rechargeable batteries so I can charge it with a power bank while out is one. Being able to focus the headlight, is another. Most of the headlights I see just have a bunch of little LED bulbs that can't focus, this one has one giant one (300 Lumens) that focuses down pretty far so you can see further away. Also being able to take off the back headlight so I can use it as a lantern and still be able to wear the front headlight is great. The instructions say "Water Resistant 00M" IPX4. I had to look this up. Some kind of water rating, and IPX4 means splash-proof. Good enough for me as it never rains here anyway.

Headband too small and removable rear COB LED too loose
For sure, it is a great lamp, brighness is very good, but when it comes to small but important details, such as: does it fit comfortably on my head? the answer is NO. I adjusted the strap to the maximum and it is still too small, I'm going to have to find a way to enlarge the headband. No. 2: the rear COB LED is for sure very convenient because it can removed and used as a separate lantern; the problem is that it does not attach well on the headlamp bracket, while fitting the whole headlamp on my head, it's very easy get it out of place and unattach it, which on a stressful situation such as a mountain hike, could be very inconvenient. The lantern should attach better to the bracket, so it stays securely in place. Please guys, do something about it. I love EverBrite lamps, even the cheap ones, but with this one, I am disappointed.

Not content.
I really like the versatility of this headlight, but the little rubber ring that keeps water out of the front light plug came out and got lost. I know I got it for 3 yrs now, but I have only gone out camping 4 or 5 times only.

Great light source with a very good battery life.
I use this headlight in performing detailed work in my remodeling business so it does take a beating at times. I've oreded three of them so far. Two for myself and one for one of my customers who borrowed mine and liked it so much he wanted one of his own. The first one I bought still works but has a short in the switch in the front light so I ordered a new one. The good thing is that the rear light which houses the battery can be swapped with the battery on the new light and serve as a back up battery while the other battery charges.

It's a great light.
The light has many options for users but the instruction sheet is small. I initially misread the instructions regarding the red lights. The Parameter Description shows Red and Red Strove as N/A. I understood that to mean 'Not Applicable.' Turns out it means 'Not Automatic.' You must hold the buttons down for about 3 seconds to activate them or to turn them off. Once I learned how it actually works I am very pleased with the light. I recommend that anyone who wants a versatile headlamp to choose this one.

Perfect for nighttime anywhere
Living in a "dark skies" community and frequently having to walk dogs after dark, this headlamp has been an absolute lifesaver. I love that it fits comfortably on my head, freeing up my hands to deal with the dogs, and has multiple light settings to make sure I can see and be seen. It recharges quickly and easily. Best purchase I've made in a long time!

its bright
thought i might go running with this, i still might but it is a little big. The rear light is kind of a joke if you're actually depending on it for safety, If you're camping or whatever it would be find.being able to adjust the beam is nice, construction seems OK, haven't beaten on it too much yet.
