First let me say that I LOVE these full face snorkel masks. I have even purchased them as gifts for other adults. I decided to give it a try and purchased the XS size for my 4 year old. We tested this thing out twice in the bath tub. We were unable to get a good seal to stop the water from flowing in. This was no fault of the snorkel mask but that she was probably just too petite. What concerns me is how quickly the mask fills up with water. In literally ONE SECOND the entire mask was filled with water. I was able to remove it immediately but she had already inhaled the water and was essentially panicked and drowning inside this thing. She would have never been able to remove it herself. May I just suggest if you are looking to purchase this for a child perhaps consider it for an older child. Be sure to have trial runs before ever considering allowing your child to use this in the pool or ocean. Especially practice with your child on how to get the mask off themselves if the seal should ever break. The mask fill up almost completely instantaneously.

I was very happy with this unit. Used it for hours and hours. You CANNOT suck in water through this unit, which is refreshing. If you tilt your head too far toward your chest and the snorkel goes under water a marble blocks the air hole and air just stops flowing. Which is no big deal. Doesn't happen often and when it does you just straighten your head out and blow out just a little and you're back to breathing again.What's so amazing about this snorkel is that you can actually breath normally - with your mouth shut and thru your nose! It makes snorkeling so much less exhausting and more relaxing.It worked great even for skin diving (diving down with snorkel still on). Once you come back up, just a tiny blow out and you're back to breathing normally again.If you get any water inside the mask (which wouldn't come from air tube. It would come in from the sides of the mask, like if your hair gets in the way of the seal) then this mask has a blow-out mechanism right in front of your mouth. You just blow hard once or twice and any water droplets that got in are evacuated.Works great! This is the way snorkeling should be!!! Combined with the small flippers here on Amazon they were a fantastic pair.

We bought this to use in the Caribbean back in June.Pros:- No water leakage around the sides of the mask. My son (age 16), daughter (age 14), and I (age 44) have very different head sizes and profiles, and none of us had any issues.- The design fixes the problem of a normal snorkel where salt water can seep in the sides of your mouth and get into your sinuses.- You can talk a little with the mask on. That way you can communicate a little, unlike with a normal snorkel and mask.- It keeps water from coming in through the top of the snorkel. There is a ball that plugs the top of the snorkel when you dip it under water. No air can get in either, which takes a little getting used to.- No issues with foggingCons:- After about a 45 minutes of snorkeling the pressure around the face can get to be a bit much, so I have to take it off and take a break for a while.

I bought this and same brand but for me too. My husband loved loved the full mask gear. He liked that he could breath w nose and or mouth. He has never enjoyed snorkeling. We used gear for our trip to the island of Bermuda. I had to count down to my husband he couldn’t get enough snorkeling watching the tropical fish. The mask doesn’t get fogged it’s super light weight.

I bought this for our trip to Cozumel, thinking I MIGHT stick my face in the water and just test it out. I have to say this mask was AMAZING. My husband and I snorkeled at three different spots and I enjoyed every minute of it because of this mask. HOWEVER the phone case that came with it failed my phone. My phone fell into the water while in the case and it filled up with water (even though it was sealed.) Needless to say, my phone was waterlogged and I ended up having to buy a new iPhone 7+ (I was not happy!)

Very cool mask !!! I love it! I enjoy diving with this mask. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material which the mask was made of. It is strong plastic. The elastic is smooth has no any defect, all edges smooth no sharp edges you will not cut or scratch the face.That part of the mask that fits the face made of the silicone, and does not irritate the skin. The rubber part of the mask fits snugly to the face but does not press. The belts made of elastic material and easily adjustable. No unpleasant smell of plastic. There is a nice bonus: the kit includes a waterproof case for the smartphone and a clip for the GoPro camera. Plus extra gasket and membrane. Now in winter I'm diving in the pool and I'm spinning underwater as I want, and I do not get a drop of water in my face. After use, the mask is placed in the bag that is also included in the kit. Sorry I do not live near the ocean,and yet I get the pleasure of diving with this mask!!!

I purchased the mask because I have tried snorkeling with regular snorkel equipment and always have a hard time breathing through my mouth with the typical gear. I thought since I use a CPAP machine breathing with this would be a breeze, however it wasn't. I found it very difficult to catch my breath at first and had to remove the mask several times to catch my breath. Eventually I was able to get my breathing under control by walking around in the shallow end of the pool to practice breathing with it on. Once I felt confident with breathing, I ventured into the deep end and swan around without any issues. I would recommend this mask to people, but I would also recommend for beginners to practice breathing with it on before venturing out too far. It fit great and I didn't have any issues with it fogging up. I plan on trying to use it in the bay at some point after I get home from vacation.
