Scuffs Ultra Alloy Wheel Rim Protectors (Silver)

Nice product. Sits nicely on the wheel and looks unobtrusive. However, two trims fell off within a couple of days of application. When they come off they can scratch the car bodywork. Am preparing to give them a second chance as I fitted them during the recent heatwave which may have contributed to the poor adhesion, though the instructions give no guidance on suitable fitting temperatures.

I was a little apprehensive about buying these as I had read plenty of reviews of similar products that fly off at speed. I have had these on now for 48 hours and first time I drove I had to drive ten miles on the motorway at 70+. I checked the minute I got out of the motor to see if they were fine and indeed they were stuck firm.If you follow the simple instructions you should not have an issue. Use the wipe to clean the wheel rims thoroughly, this is the most important phase of the application. Once done I let the rims dry then used the included adhesive wipe on the rim and left it for exactly five minutes as per the instructions. When applying the Scuff Ultra they have a nice rim that goes around the wheel and helps with guidance. Once wheel is completed, mark with a pencil where you need to cut and join the protectors. Once they were on the wheels, I went around them with a block of wood and pressed firm to the wheels. All four took about an hour then I left it for 48 hours, recommended is 24 but in my eyes the longer you can not drive the car the better.All in a all, so far so good, they are stuck firm, look subtle (I bought black) and cover the kerb damage caused by the Mrs nicely, can't see a thing.

Thought they were good at first but the adhesive losers it’s sticky ness and I’ve lost a couple re bought them told the company about it got nothing back look great but doesn’t last

These are a reasonable price and easy to fit. Believe me they will not fall off. Look good aswell.Just ordered another set to protect VW wheels

They look really good however are too wide for my rims. The ad does not mention width which is around 0.85cm

I bought these based on the reviews but during installation found that one of them would not stay in place and therefore, no good. I sent a message to the retailer but after 5 days of not receiving a response, I went into my Amazon account to discover the seller was no longer selling through Amazons platform. I now need to buy a whole new set from another seller just for that one that didn't work

Fell off after 2 days. Seller informs me YOU MUST CHECK ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS……apparently the 24 hours barring off driving over 40 MPH should be 72 hours!!!!! One protector fell off within 5 minutes as it would not stick!Do not recommend this product or seller. Rude and unhelpful. I received a full refund from Amazon as seller wouldn’t offer me any compensation!
