Unique FurnitureSit & Stand Height Adjustable Standing Desk

This desk is well-designed and I like it a lot, pretty good value for price point. Two points to consider however; poor assembly instructions (screw sets not labeled!) made assembly a bit rocky, and sadly, top is very cheap and scratches VERY easily. I put it together and took it apart again because instructions were not clear, which took 90 minutes or so, and although I was very careful with the desktop, schooching it across the wood floor for assembly, disassembly and reassembly left a myriad of scratches all over the top. My brand new desk is all scratched up from the assembly process. If you order this, treat the top as fragile, put a towel under it during assembly, lift to move it, don't schooch it across the floor. Once you get it set up, you'll be happy. For the manufacturer, it's a shame that a well designed product has quite such a cheap top. I would gladly pay $100 more for this exact desk with a better quality desktop.

Initially the desk worked great, but in less than one year the height adjustment mechanism has completely failed. I contacted both the seller and the manufacturer, and they have been unwilling to address the failure, simply providing some tips on how to assess and repair (which have not worked). I would not buy products manufactured from Jesper Office, as the workmanship appears to be poor and the customer services is not particularly helpful.

Now if only I'd stop being so lazy and actually stand at it.

Great portable desk , but a tad to high when it's all the way down....The small storage shelf is somewhat to narrow for my likening . But over all it's well made.

Don't waste your time or money. This product will probably arrive broken and you'll have to wait weeks to get a replacement part, if ever. Find a different desk and save yourself a big headache.

Update 9/23/2015- After filing a BBB complaint the seller contacted me and were very nice. They accepted the returns and processed the credit.We were excited to order two of these standing desks for our home office. I've got a VariDesk at work that I love. Putting these together they had some weight to them so I thought they would be good units. I put both together and right away noticed that one had a dented desktop and one of the hydraulic or pneumatic lifters wasn't working correctly. Essentially that desktop would never be level because the lifter on each side were always at different heights.The second desk seemed ok at first until my wife told me she couldn't lower the desktop. I found I could do it if I pushed really hard on it but to me that means it isn't working. Especially considering that these weren't cheap, even at Amazon prices this was an investment in what I thought would be good furniture to own.We contacted the seller, PlumStruck. They were fine with us returning the desks and even extended our return period. By the time we received our replacement desks and had the two defective desks packaged to ship the fedex label link had expired (7 days too late). Since PlumStruck was so nice the first time I thought they would be fine giving us a new link. But now they are refusing to process the return even though the desks are defective. I would be more understanding of their position if it was just an issue of us changing our minds over color or similar. And yes, it's my fault for not getting the return shipped in time but these desks are defective and I think they should accept the return.I hope PlumStruck sees this and reaches out to us with a solution.
