CampCo Humvee Pilot Sunglasses, Grey Polarized Lens/Matte Silver

I used to buy American Optical or Randolph Aviation Glasses from clothing sales exactly like these when I was flying in the military.Only prob with them is they have gotten so expensive. These are made exactly like the ones with gov spec with the straight temples which are designed for putting them on with a flight helmet on. I find them also great for motorcycle helmets. these are even better in my opinion because they come with spring load hinges, a plus over the gov. spec. ones for a lot less money.I would buy them again.Wm Scott

My expectations were low going into the purchase of these Humvee sunglasses. All I was hoping for was a pair of cheap sunglasses to get me through a season of active use - fully expecting them to be easily damaged and get thrown out at the end of summer.What actually happened was the lenses were scratched the very first day I owned them. I wore them on the beach while I sat in a chair and read a book, then threw them back in the included case, put the case in our beach bag, and went swimming. I came back out to find the lenses scuffed to the point of being unusable.In hindsight, I should have expected that. The plastic they used for the lenses is very soft, which matches the garbage materials used for the frame and the terrible build quality.I'll be sticking with generic grocery store sunglasses for my beaters I'm the future. They're cheaper and believe it or not, they hold up better.

I shouldn't expect too much for $20 sunglasses and that's exactly what I got. Thin plastic lenses and the frames are a very lightweight metal. Once I started to wipe the lenses clean after peeling off the sticker, one of the lenses seemed to rattle around a bit in the frame, so I don't expect these to last very long if I put any regular use on them.The only plus I can attribute is that they are the classic squared pilot frame but I'm going to keep them to use as spares.

I bought these knowing that the quality may be suspect based on other reviews, but it's a new style for me, so I would rather dislike the style at under $20 than a higher price point.Positives are the look, the feel on my head (i.e. the bayonet arms are comfortable and stay in place), and knowing that my head needs 57mm sunglasses.The only negative is that the left lens does move in the frame when I wipe them, so I am assuming that in time it'll pop out.Also, I can see my eyes through the lenses, so no gawking at people in these with anonymity.

these sunglasses fit well, looked good, great size on my face, dark, polarized lenses that filtered the harshness and glare of daytime sunlight very well without distorting reality...plus they look pretty badass when you're rippin' down the highway...only slight negative is plastic lenses since I'm used to G15 green glass lenses on Ray Bans...but it's a high quality, distortion-less dark lens that is of decent quality that is commensurate with the inexpensive price of the sunglasses

After sacrificing a few expensive pairs of sunglasses to boat mishaps, spontaneous loss of ambulatory ability and a surprise bear attack, I needed good glasses that I don't mind losing.These glasses do not dissapoint for the price.The one minor gripe I have is that they're advertised as "matte", but they are not. If you've had AO matte, these are not that finish.The upside is that the reflection from the (shiny) silver may momentarily blind the next bear that tries to surprise me.

I own both AO and RE pilot sun glasses and they are great, but I'm now retired and can no longer afford to replace them. These are an ok knock around pair of sun glasses. If you lose them it doesn't take 80 bucks to replace them.Update: I bought 2 pair one has held up the other fell apart. In all honesty I wouldn't purchase again.

The sunglasses are great but the screw came out and its not a standard size glasses screw that could be fixed with a repair kit. Virtually cannot use them. Be careful when handling them...

Cheap crap, hinge came deformed, than the other one broke 1week into wearing them.For comparison my original American Opticals "original pilot", are still going strong despite being dropped, sat on, and otherwise mistreated- glass lense broke but the frames are still solid. Save your money and buy the American Opticals with polycarbonate lenses. You'll get years of wear out of them.

Buscaba unas gafas del estilo 'aviator' y con las patillas rectas para poder utilizarlas con el casco de la moto sin problemas.Existen otras alternativas pero a un precio mucho más elevado y las Humvee tienen el mismo diseño, con una calidad más que aceptable, y a un precio contenido.Eso si, hay que tener en cuenta que la montura, aunque de buena calidad, es compacta y no permite el cambio de los cristales por otros graduados.

Amazing low quality for 3k INRPlastic ends come right off this made in China ( 2 stickers appropriately placed ) knock off .Steel/chrome finish is uneven, weld junctions are not clean, case is uneven ,asymmetric and doesn't house the sunglasses easily, sunglass size is smaller than promoted on the website. Overall - not worth the price. AO saves the day. Randolph is the original . This spsed HUMVEE product , far cry from what is being sought after. Duplicate definite Do not waste your money

Wow finally a pair of glass that suits for thin face, i don't have a large face no check bone usually a sunglasses is too large because for almost all brands theirs only one type of guy in the afordable range. I know if you want to trhow 200$ you'lle find what you need but otherwise if you have an oval or oblong these sunglasses are the best choice so far. The quality is OK not cheap but not high quality either.I will buy another pair in balck

Ottimo Occhiale a prezzo basso buona fattezza ottime lenti resistenti e a prova di ambiente sportivo esiste in due diverse misure 52/57 mm mm e ho preso il 57 mm consiglio per provare dopo passate al brand American Optical più costoso e ovviamente migliore trovate anche misura intermedia 55mm in colori oro nero e acciaio lucido e opaco

These were amazing at first. But after a month or two, you can really notice that the quality isn’t there. Hinges are bent, frames aren’t sturdy. They look good, but not great quality.

cheap duplicate,, even chinese written on box cover ,, disappointed with amazon how they can enroll this low quality product on their site, i returned it same day i got.

Was small in size , plus the quality of the frames were very shoddy and poor

This are great sunglasses for the money! Stylish and we'll built. I have 2 pairs and will by more if the price stays around +/-$22...Get the 57 if you have a big head

Theyre ok. Subtle differences from the AO but still good for the money!

Good fit for me. Glasses are quite large so best for a larger person. Good quality, price is just about right for what you get.

Better than my other pairs of these. These ones have springs in the arms so they are much more comfortable for long periods. Will order again
