Neater Pet Brands Scooper Cat Litter Scoop, Green

I use this daily I love that you scoop the poop right into a bag and when you lay it down it closes so you can scoop again before throwing that bag out saving money ... I've re-ordered the bags !!

Great concept but too small. If the poop box was longer it could collect more.

This device does what it states - it scoops, and does it well. So, for doing as advertised, that's a three star review.But there are a few things to know:It does not hold up to stress well. Within the first five minutes of using it, the green and white plastic handle split, and the tabs that held it (pretty small ones) had bent and broke. Now my scooper has a split in it and it needs duct tape! I felt disappointed when that happened.The opening is a decent size, but not for clumped urine chunks. Poop passes easily through the opening, but larger chunks do not. Again, slightly disappointed. My cats are adults, so that was too bad...The door doesn't stay closed if the scooper is placed on the bottom. There is no internal spring to keep the door closed. Not a problem, but it does seem weird for it to be open.If this product were better constructed, I'd recommend it. It does the job well and fast. But a splitting handle and a small receptacle opening are enough to reduce it.

This is a good concept, poor implementation. The scoop is so big it is hard to maneuver through the litter box. As other reviews have stated the handle comes apart from the base very easily causing for scooped litter spills. And if you own cats that are "generous" with their stools, the flap to the base does not close.I would not recommend that product.

Cleaning the cat box is much quicker and cleaner with the neater scooper. Even though the waste compartment is fairly small, I've been able to go about 2-3 days without having to change it before it becomes full, but I do only own one cat. One thing I originally thought that the scoop had the capability of doing was manually opening and closing the swing door with a button on the handle or something similar, rather than just letting gravity open and close it while scooping. It would be convenient to have the door closed while the scoop is stored standing upright in order to keep the odors within the waste compartment but because it does not do this, I have to store it on its side with the handle facing up to keep the door closed and prevent the waste compartment from stinking up the room. The refill bags are also pretty pricey for how much they give you. I stick to buying doggie poop bags from the dollar store when I run out of bags. Other than that, this is a great product and I'm glad I purchased it.

I like it alright but need one with longer handle as back won,t let me bend over.

Works great, and she loves the color.

This is ok in theory, but it doesn't accommodate the large clumps of litter made by my cats.
