Compact and stylish docking station
Great product, has been working well with my Macbook Air for several months. I use it mainly to get an extra monitor and a few extra USB ports, but it works with a third monitor as well.

which is a pretty typical combination
I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this docking station. I wish it had just one more USB port, though. If you have a mouse, keyboard, and USB key, which is a pretty typical combination, that's three of the five ports locked up. Add a cable to charge your phone and one for your headphones, and you're out of ports. If it was me, I would have put one more USB port on the left side, then moved the mic/headphone jacks to the right side to make room for an extra port on the back. That would really put this product over the top not only because of the extra ports, but because those are things you want to plug/unplug all the time. They're on the back right now, which means if you need to plug in/remove your USB key a lot (pretty typical) you're always fussing to get to it.That said, this is still the best fit for my needs. It seems a little over-priced but it has a full DisplayLink controller for its video ports so it saves you from buying a USB adapter to get that extra monitor. Working great for me so far...

Meh
While it looks really cool, I could never get any wireless mouse to work well. Furthermore, it doesn’t charge my laptop, so this is really just a hub. Very disappointed. For once, I should have listened to the negative reviews. Replaced with something cheaper that works much much much better and charges my laptop. I’m using this as a charging hub now....a true fall from universal docking station grace.

Don't expect driver support
The equipment appears solid but I have only had it a few days. The drivers suck.I bought the dock because I use a Linux laptop and my company issued me a Windows 7 laptop. The supplied Windows driver is unsigned and that in and of itself is not acceptable for a commercial product. The Linux driver is for Debian based distros, specifically Ubuntu. The catch is they only supply a driver that works with kernel 3.16 to 3.19 so, if you have updated your system since early 2015 you are out of luck using the driver unless you want to downgrade your kernel.I gave it 3 stars because the hardware is solid and works. But the drivers suck.

Pretty, but only on the outside.
So far, it was hell to try to get both displays working (mostly neither worked) and then when I finally got it to work, the system tray went awol. Not the tray icon, mind you, the WHOLE SYSTEM TRAY. On top of that, it seems to have detected a third display which doesn't exist, and where ALL new windows go (Win10). And, since the system tray is out to lunch, there is no way to open the DisplayLink software to see if I can fix it. Probably going to return this. Also, they seem to think they're Apple. The product is SEVERELY overpackaged in the same kind of packaging as Apple products. At least Apple products are marginally useful.

Working nicely under Windows 10 with Lenovo Yoga
Working nicely under Windows 10 with Lenovo Yoga. Both memory card slots can be used at the same time.

I would LOVE it if the driver was fixed to respond to clamshell mode
The only thing I am taking off the star for is because my MacBook Air even though I close the lid and want to use the external displays only the current drivers still treat the laptop as if the screen is being used so windows open up inside the screen that I can't see.

Best Docking station ever.
Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality! The power button is a very good idea. Worth the money.
