Worked great in my glue gun. Made the perfect wax seal for my wedding invitations

Very thick wax sticks
They worked for what I needed them for. Good quality wax and looked incredible after stamped. My only downside with these is just how thick the sticks are. Wouldn’t fit in any regular sized glue gun and were pretty difficult to cut into pieces. Worked fine by pushing into the wax spoon but once they got smaller, your fingers will get really hot!

Rich, glossy wax that is easy to use.
This was my first time using sealing wax that works in a glue gun. I first started using wax seals about six months ago, as a way to make snail mail more special. In an ever tech-reliant world, I like the tactile nature and thoughtfulness of "real" mail. I started by using the wax sticks where you light the wick and then drop the wax onto the envelope. They were tricky and messy, and I later learned that the wax for those often cracks in the mail. I was hesitant to try the glue gun sealing wax, because it seemed to take away from the tradition...however, I am now converted. This wax is beautiful, glossy, and rich. It requires a low heat, "large" glue gun (not the skinny diameter ones). I only have a regular-heat glue gun in that size, but found that it worked just fine to plug it in and let it warm until the wax began melting, then unplug and make my seals. I was able to make 10-20 seals after each round of warming. It took about a dime size puddle of wax to create enough for each of my seals. I used these on my Christmas cards and they worked beautifully with a Christmas tree stamp. I thought I would miss the flame and process of using the sealing wax with a wick, but the gorgeous end product and ease of use make this my new go-to form of wax.

Great sealing wax, works perfectly in a low-temp hot glue gun
The wax itself is super lovely, in my case I chose the purple which came out as a beautiful deep purple with just a hint of swirl texture, creating a super classy effect on the envelope. These come in glue-gun-compatible sticks, if you have a *low temp* glue gun (or glue gun with a low temp setting) then that is far and away the easiest and quickest way to apply sealing wax. With most glue guns, one full trigger pull is exactly the right amount for a seal, so you just squirt it on, press in the seal, let it cool and off you go. (Make sure to cool the seal between applications, I just dip it in a cup of water.)And, of course, the price is right! You can seal hundreds of envelopes with this one pack.

They worked so well! I’m obviously not a professional at this, but it was a beautiful addition to my Christmas gifts.

Not quite wax, but
Much like how the description says "can use special gun to melt", these seem to be more like a glue stick in consistency....not really wax. I think that's a common thing now, though. They still work, but they behave a little differently than the sealing wax you may be used to. I wouldn't recommend trying to melt the stick directly over open flame, instead melt it in something, a spoon, or one of the dedicated melting bowls. On the plus side, they are slightly more durable and flexible than standard sealing wax once they set up. On the negative side, you don't have the same "open time" to work with it, but if you imagine it like melted glue, the working time is more like that. Don't just do a quick stamp with the seal, let it sit on it firmly until it starts to cool,. then gently peel from the outer edge...if you have an intricate seal it will want to grab into the nooks and crannies, but it will let go.

I am very happy
I was using this product for so much more than it's intended purpose and I am still not disappointed. I only wish it was for a mini glue gun but I was able to borrow my mother's glue gun to use them, so it's all good. Also, I highly suggest you use it in a low-temp glue gun unless you're okay with plugging and unplugging your glue gun in order to not make a huge mess and mess up your projects/letter. Beware. BUT I love love love this product and I will be buying again,

Gorgeous color
I absolutely love the wine color of these wax sticks. They have a small hint of metallic and look amazing, and elegant, on wedding invitations. To use these sticks, you need the standard glue gun size NOT the mini. You could also easily cut these into pellets if you use the candle method.Love these and will order from this brand again.
