No need to force your eyes to read the temperature. The numbers are quite large and the contrast (black on light gray) is clear. The cable is long enough to place the probe at the bottom of the aquarium at the back, bring the cable out the back of the cover and bring it back to the front glass of the aquarium. The suction cups adhere well to the glass and do not fall off all the time!The temperature reading is accurate. I placed one thermometer on the left and one on the right equivalent to a distance of 36" (91 cm) between them. As you can see on my picture, there is a 0.1°C difference but 98% of the time, both thermometers show the same temperature. Le câble est suffisamment long pour placer la sonde au fond de l'aquarium à l'arrière, faire sortir le câble par l'arrière du couvercle et le ramener sur la vitre avant de l'aquarium. Les ventouses adhèrent bien à la vitre et ne passent pas leur temps à tomber!La lecture de la température est précise. J'ai placé un thermomètre à gauche et un à droite équivalent à une distance entre eux de 36 po (91 cm). Comme on peut voir sur ma photo, il y a 0,1°C d'écart mais 98% du temps, les deux thermomètres affichent la même température. Heureuse de mon achat, je recommande!

Great little thermometer. Easy to read & simple to use. Battery operated so you dont have to worry about finding an open plug for it amongst all your other aquarium goodies using up precious power bar space, lol! . Its outlasted any of the other thermometers I've tried in the past year & the price is definitely a bargain. I used to work in a pet store so Im familiar with a variety of aquarium equipment. I have 1 of these in each of my 4 tanks & now a spare one as well!

Both thermometers gave about the same reading as my home thermostats for room temperature. You need to let them be for a while though, it’s not instant. As for my tank, they both gave the same reading which was 0,5 C less than my Inkbird said, but I have a feeling the Inkbrid might be off a little. You can turn them off when not in use, so the battery lasts longer. I would definitely buy again.

I use a digital thermometer when filling up my large water bin for aquarium water changes. Then, as I progress from tank to tank, I can add hot water to the bin as needed. I need to be able to see the temperature quickly and even from a short distance. The first time I used this (replacing an old different unit), I turned both on and also put a manual thermometer in to check for accuracy and any adjustments I might need to make. Both digitals registered exactly the same down to the "point" reading and were accurate to the manual reading. Very happy with these!

Good little thermometer, seemed accurate, all I had before was a regular glass aquarium one. Small with a long wire easy to place anywhere in your tank set-up. The only thing would be in my smaller tank I had about 12 inches of extra wire that I had to wrap around the suction cup behind the digital display I think the wire could be a little shorter if I had any suggestions to improve this product. But so far working as expected and was to use/ install, only had it for a week so can't comment on battery life, but easy enough to find replacements ones at dollar store.
