Does a good job.
Only celcius no farenheit setting. Troth around inside fir water should have a screen to keep new chicks out from drowning. While locking down accidentally crushed one egg with motor because no barrier to keep eggs from rolling under it. But as long as experienced with process it is a great usable item. Had a very good quail hatch.

Will not do anything bigger than a medium or large chicken egg!!!
I got this incubator and was truly excited. I did a dry run without eggs and the temperature and humidity were stable. The auto turn worked. Then I got my chicken eggs. I put them in and filled the trays with included bottle (which actually is very cheap and leaks if you squeeze it too hard to fill through the hole so you don't have to open top) and the humidity went straight to 80%. Then the alarm started going off during the night. I noticed the top had moved so I readjusted eggs. They mention putting a blanket on top to keep temperature consistent and high enough. So I put a heavy blanket on top. A few days later the alarm went off again. The humidity was too low. So using the little hole I added water. After 3 bottles (I only added 2 when it was dry and first started) I decided to pop the top and quickly look to see the issue. Thats when I noticed the auto egg turned tab was disconnected from motor, Reattached and put to back on to see that as it turned it lifted the lid, too much weight and it disconnected. Well that's because the room egg holder/ turning cup to top of box is too small and the eggs push it up and move it thus now your humidity and temp are out. I tried adjusting the eggs and the larger chicken eggs just wouldn't fit. I removed the larger eggs, Needless to say after 21 days I had 0% hatched. Would be great for small eggs possibly like quail or parrot.

Caution when hatching
I lost quail because I didn't block the water trough that is used for humidity. I filled the trough with marbles so the quail could not get into the water other than to drink from it. I was allowing the quail to finish getting dried off before placing them into the brooder.

Buena
The media could not be loaded.

Good but small and follow this and others warning
This is a good incubator, temp was accurate but humidity was reading wrong. Always have a second source for temp/hum.The little yellow knob that turns the eggs must be removed when it's hatching time. The instructions do not mention this. Its a death trap for chicks. I saw the warning on a youtube video and thankful i followed his advice. I was able to easily pop it off and back on for next years use.Our larger barred rock eggs had a hard time fitting with the lid. It kept popping loose.

Good for the price
The digital temp and humor reader doesn't work and is not accurate when it does work so I would suggest buying a couple different ones, calibrating them and go off that instead of the on that's on the incubator itself. Also, I wouldn't trust it to hold temps very well so I kept the styrofoam shell it came in, on it the entire process. We hatched shipped eggs.. but out of the 9 viable eggs we set. 7 of them hatched and are doing well so not bad. It was my first time hatching eggs so for what we paid, it got the job done 🤷♀️

hatch rate is good
hatch rate is good but i recommend having a secondary temp and humidity monitoring system, the one on the system hasn’t been accurate. i’m on my 4th round of hatching with it though and it’s a good value for how many eggs it holds

DO NOT USE INCUBATOR GUIDELINES!!!
This is a great low cost incubator but for the love of sweet chick'n little DO NOT GO BY THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL RECCOMENDATIONS!!! If you are incubating chicken eggs at <9,000ft above sea level (which most of you are!) Your humidity should be 25-35% for the first 18 days. If you incubate at 55-65% humidity you WILL have a garbage hatch rate full of fully grown chicks that died in shell because the air sac was too small. After day 18 (or when you see the first little hole) crank that humidity up to 70-75% and you will be able to open the lid and snatch newborns out without seram wrapping the rest of the clutch.Be aware that you cannot see through the lid and please, PLEASE cycle your incubator for at least 24 hrs before use. Keep the bottom packing styrofoam block for a basw and throw a towel over the top to help temps keep steady. If you buy a little humidity/temp monitor to throw in you will find out that 37.5 c translates to a practical temp of 97 ° f with some spots warmer and some cooler. You can find out where these spots are via hatch date. Warmer temps = 19 days to hatch (egg was probably hitting 100 in shell) and cooler temps = 23 days (these probably only hit 97) your eggs WILL NOT hatch the same day with this model but that is ok, because if you followed the 70% rule you can pull fluffed up chicks out and get them eating and drinking.I love the way the bottom is designed- there is no where for the chicks to fall through and drown. This is my permanent hatch incubator now. This thing saved my butt and I'm happy with it.
