Glam Glits Acrylic Powder 1 oz Marilyn CAC322

I tried this with ombré nails and realized right away that it’s highly pigmented. It doesn’t take much product to get a true black. The downside is it transfers. Even after cleaning my brush and allowing the acrylic to dry when I used the cover color it transferred after wiping over it once. I had to encapsulate it with clear before putting the cover color over it.

Very good price for such a pigmented and easy to use powder. Glam and glits is a great line overall and is very easy to work with especially for beginners. This powder doesn’t flow quickly, making it easier to do acrylic designs and build with. The price is the cherry on top. It is a lot of product for a low cost considering it is such a pigmented and reliable brand. I have more than enough time to make my acrylic application smooth and even and it is very easy to file. The photos don’t do justice for how rich the pigment is. I will only purchase black powder from glam and glits from now on because it has not let me down!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a replacement as the first one became lost in delivery. Upon receiving this one I noticed that the container was open and that some of the acrylic had spilled into the plastic. Why this jar does not have a seal on the top is beyond me! They really need to consider better packaging other than that I’m excited to try as the reviews for the pigment and product are decent .

I hated messing around with black UV Nail polish. No matter the brand, it never seemed to cure right. I got this so i could skip that step. Pro, it worked and looked very nice.. Con - This stuff is messy, and stains! I had a nice fluffy brush that I would use to wipe away extra powder. ( I used this with the dip kit) and it left a lot of black powder on the brush. Plus it stains your fingers a bit too.. Other than that, the product was nice.

First off I love glitz & glam acrylic. It lays smoothly and I love the color. However, a lot of times when you buy black acrylic, it sets with a gray hue. Or it lays splotchy and has lines of black. Or sometimes it claims to be black but instead has glitter or shimmer. Don't get me wrong, I love glitter but it's frustrating when thats not what you're looking for. But this black is THE ONE. It is a true black, no gray, no glitter, no unevenness. It is BLACK. And it lays smooth and flat. It doesn't even need a top coat. I haven't even filed my nails and it still looks good.

This was sent to me so dang quick. It is awesome to work with. It saturates with the liquid polymer quickly and fully. Must have experience (in my opinion) in order to work well with this powder. I love it. I am very happy. It ends up as a nice MATTE finish with NO sparkle or shimmer. Do not even need a finishing topcoat and can use it as is.

i needed a black that would perform without staining and this is it. it will look brown in the jar but once you open it you'll have that aaaaah moment.
