Nyko SpeakerCom - Headset Alternative Controller Attachment with Push To Talk Button for PlayStation 4

I ordered this for using on the PS4. Works well, a little tinny sounding but great for the price. You can still hear others and it's easy enough to speak with a push & hold of a button! (for either hand)

Didn't fit my PS5 controller but I don't think it's for that model.

This was a good idea OK product.

While convenient, good sounding, and good mic response. Difficult and uncomfortable to hold as you need to avoid triggering the push to talk due to the sensitivity of the buttons. Simple engineering would make them more difficult to press so you could rest your fingers on the buttons comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to my younger child who does use the ps4 and does not tolerate the earphones, and is jealous from his elder brother who uses a ps5 controller with build in speaker that allows communication with friends without ear phones,and it is really a very good replacement.you direct the speech to the speakers, and keep the game sounds coming from TV,it works similarly to the ps5 controller whom my elder son use

I wanted this product so I could quietly play my PS4 without disturbing anyone. This product did that very well... by producing terrible sound! Tinny, non-stereo, and somehow offensive to the ear. If I had known how bad it would sound, I would have just found the cheapest product that is a keyboard/speaker combo and that would have probably been just as offensive to me ears.Game sounds are terrible. Everything blends through one mono speaker. People hearing me said that I sounded like a blur of static in an aquarium. What I heard back was nothing good as well.I thought they would be better, but NYKO dropped the ball here. I guess I should just hold them in esteem for batteries and rechargeables. If I kept the packaging, I would return this.

Keeps shutting off randomly even though it was plugged in for the whole day. If it's not plugged in it'll shut off when it feels like it. Either it can't hold a charge or it's just how it was made. It's very helpful though because I don't have speakers built in my monitor for some reason. The buttons on the back of it to activate the microphone can get annoying though. They're super sensitive and mute the sound when touched. Didn't need the mic part of it. I only need it for single players games anyway. Started sputtering after two months and keeps cutting out the sound.

I love being able to connect with friends. It works great and my husband can hear it too and respond to friends.
