Oh wow
I’ve finally joined the train and started the addicted series…I was unsure as to whether I’d like Lily and Lo, it took me a while to warm to them both. But man my heart aches for them so much. This book was so much sadder than I thought it was going to be I cried a lot, especially towards the end. I love Connor, Rose and Ryle and I can’t wait to see them in the Calloway Sisters series.I can already tell this series is going to be a big part of my life.

I would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't so hyped up I think
I had very high expectations for this because its so hyped up but I was a little disappointed. Its a weird one for me, obviously it's not meant for kids to read, way too spicy for that but for some reason the writing style or the cringiness of the characters just made it feel a little immature and like something a 15 year old would enjoy. Idk I like romance and stuff but this I was a bit like, yeah no okay this is a bit dramatic. However by the end I was attached to the characters so at some point I will probably read the next book and go from there. But yeah too overhyped and it gave me high expectations that weren't met.

I can tell this is the start of an epic romance series
This is the first time in a long time where I haven't started writing my review from the beginning of the book, and that's because I wasn't very far into it before I was absolutely ADDICTED.This book is the first in a ten book series focused on the Calloway sisters, starting with Lily, the sex addict. And my gosh this was smutty emotional deliciousness. I am obsessed with Lily and Lo and their love and I can't wait to read more about them in the other books and see where their journey leads them to next because it ended in SUCH an emotional place. If you're looking for your next epic romance series to get obsessed with then this is for you. Childhood best friend to lovers, a load of rich people, and some fake dating thrown in.I need to get the next book immediately and devour it, and this is coming from someone who never reads books in series one after the other and usually always needs a break from the characters!I'm obsessed with these covers too.

I’m gonna read the whole series!
A sex addict and an alcoholic. Fake dating to protect there secrets. What could go wrong. Lo and Lilly have serious problems that they don’t want to admit. They have a routine to hide who they really are but as new people come into there lives, Lilly can’t use a different guy every night to solve her problems and Lo can’t rely on a bottle of whiskey to get through his life. They have to lean on each other to get through it all.▪️▪️▪️▪️I read this book so fast because it was so hard to put down. The way Loren’s alcoholism is described and the way there addictions are spoken about is so accurate. Both of them know they have a problem but won’t admit it.This book had me crying, laughing and on the edge of my seat all at the same time. There are hints dropped all the way through but the last few chapters had me at a los for words.Honestly such a great book and highly recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unexpectedly jumped right to the top of my favourite books list.
It is so so easy to make unsympathetic characters. In this book, Lily is a sex addict and her best friend Lo is an alcoholic. I have to say when this book was first brought to my attention I was like "Addiction, that's a tricky one, I'm going to have to read that." To then find out it was about a female sex addict was so interesting to me because even girls that have slept with no one can be called sluts, how was someone that actually has a compulsion going to deal with it and be dealt with by other people?I remember reading Junk when I was 14/15 and I was just so angry at how they got into drugs and how easy it was for the situation to completely flip over but still I knew that I had read a life changing book. I felt the same reading this but without the anger. There's no apologizing for the addictions that they both have. There's acceptance that they have it and the fear of others finding out. This book is an amazing start to an amazing series. The Addicted Series is so important socially and morally. Is it okay to be cover up for someone's addiction to make them feel better? Is it okay to not even try and curb your addiction? I think people have a very black and white view of addiction and this story helps to focus on people with addictions rather than addictions in people. The characters in this series are phenomenal, they're all from the same background (my one and only real criticism of the book) but with such different and distinct personalities that I believe is what really makes the series.Recommend to: Everyone, understanding addiction is so importantRating: 5 stars - this book really set the bar for meSee more reviews at: aishareadsbooks.blogspot.co.uk
