Great value paper trimmer

I purchased this as a replacement for my old X-Cut rotary trimmer, which lasted me a good number of years. I have purchased other trimmers which use a wire to cut through; the Fiskars Super trimmer being one of said purchases; but have never been as impressed as I was with my original X-Cut. The Fiskars trimmer never cut straight, and the thin plastic of the blade is annoying to have to hold on to, as it is small and flat.I hoped against hope that X-Cut had come up with a new, improved version of their original rotary, sadly I am rather disappointed in this remake.The handle is extremely flimsy, the plastic of the base is quite thin and I don't believe that it will stand up to years of wear as my original did.And possibly the most irritating thing? It doesn't cut straight. Why bother with a trimmer at all if it does not cut straight? Clearly it's too much to ask to have at least one of these companies come up with a trimmer that cuts straight, rather than leave a ragged, wonky edge.So, if anyone has any recommendations, do let me know!But as for this one - if you're not doing constant cutting, and aren't using more than one sheet of paper at a time, then this trimmer could work for you.As for myself, I will probably hang onto it for the odd bit of cutting, but won't be expecting big things from it.I guess in this case, the price reflects the quality.

Awful. Very flimsy and surprisingly very difficult to cut in a straight line due to blade being about 10mm away from guide. Bizarre.

It doesn't cut along the guideline so you just have to go with your best guess, the blade struggles to cut through even regular printing paper, and it's extremely flimsy and wobbly.

Doesn't cut without a great deal of effort and guesswork. Even then, it doesn't always go right through the paper. The guide is wrong, and the flimsy, tiny handle is near impossible to use whilst putting the right amount of pressure on to actually cut through. The guide also needs changing every five minutes as it doesn't heal properly like most cutting mats. Don't bother wasting your money!

Ich hatte mir diesen Rollenschneider aufgrund einer Empfehlung gekauft, die ich im Internet gefunden habe. Leider bin ich äußerst enttäuscht. Eines vorab: mir ist selbstverständlich von vorneherein klar gewesen, daß man hier nicht die Langlebigkeit und Präzision einer Profimaschine, wie z.B. Dahle erwarten kann. Die Schnittqualität ist jedoch noch schlechter als das Billigmodell von Cricut, welches ich bisher für kleinere Schneidarbeiten im Einsatz hatte. Der Schnitt verläuft nicht gerade, das Messer ist nicht wirklich scharf und die Markierung auf der Schneideleiste stimmt nicht. Eigentlich taugt das Teil nur für den Müll. Man könnte es vielleicht noch im Kindergarten für Bastelarbeiten nehmen, wo es nicht auf Genauigkeit ankommt. Ich kann nur vor dem Kauf warnen.

Exquisito aspecto externo y excelente trabajo del departamento de marketing.En cuanto a su funcionalidad que es para lo único que yo lo compré: Poca precisión en el corte ya que la deslizadera (todo de plástico) no queda firmemente fijada como en otras guillotinas de papel. Siempre mantiene cierta holgura por lo que realizar un corte perfecto es todo un arte, me es más fácil con un buena regla metálica antideslizante y un cutter.Servicio post-venta Amazon impecable.
