I ordered the 100 lb gas springs for a snowmobile cover lift assist. These installed easy and are very strong. They worked great lifting the cover and hold it up nice while loading and unloading the sled.

For my truck bed cover I had to take the ends off the old ones and put them on the new ones, but the new struts work great.

It didnt compress.
It didn't work at all! I installed it and and soon as I went to compress it the strut the end piece snapped off. After that, using all my weight I couldn't compress it so I assume defective out of the box. unfortunately I cant return because I missed the window by a day. Very disappointed.

Great Replacement for SNUGTOP Tonneau Cover
Great replacement for my SNUGTOP Tonneau Cover (2003 Ford Super Duty). Easy to install. End caps screwed on/off for easy swapping of shocks without having to pull off the entire assembly from the truck bed.

Perfect Choice for Gas Struts
These were exactly what I needed for my snowmobile trailer lid. Such variety of options, I chose 30-inch at 100 lbs which gave 30.9" centre to centre and turns out the pair provided enough pressure to hold up my heavy lid. I ordered struts for Tonneau Cover, and although the ends were different than my original struts, they just unscrew and my old ones screw right on. So the threads on the ends of these are standard size (I think M10 thread). Great price too, compared to other sources I found.

Does not come with brackets to mount
If you already have the right kind of brackets I'm sure they're great, but we don't. No option to return.
