Perfect mold for a half loaf of soap. I had a small order for three bars of soap, so this works perfectly to make four 5oz bars and one 3oz, instead of making a whole batch of 11 bars. This will ensure freshness of my soap bars for my customers. Yes, the mold buckles when it if filled with liquid, BUT there is an easy fix for that….simply put the half mold into a loaf mold box and the problem is solved. Also, not sure why some reviews are stating that it is difficult to get the soap loaf out of the mold. That is probably because they’re not allowing the soap to fully cure before trying to remove it? Not sure. My soap stayed in the mold for 48 hours before removing and it popped right out. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe. Material is thick, so the durability seems stable. Scent doesn’t linger behind either, so I feel comfortable making different half loaves with different scents. It also doesn’t stain, which is a plus since I make a lot of turmeric soap and I don’t have to worry about turmeric sticking to a different loaf of soap. I’ll definitely order more once wear and tear begins to appear, if any. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase.

I’ve been looking everywhere for 8 oz soap molds to no luck. Found this and I put 1 pound of melt and pour in there then cut in half. 1 pound only got me about 3/4 filled so I’ll fill it to the top next time to make 3 more rectangular bars vs the square one you see in the pic. Great product!

Perfect size for test batches or special orders of CP soaps. However, when filling up the mold it tends to bow outwards when filled to the top. (I just took some scrap wood pieces to prevent this from happening) However, The Silicone is a bit thick which makes it a bit tricky to demold. Especially with some of my softer soaps. Not a bad mold. Just could use a few tweaks.

This mold is nice. Excellent 21oz size for when you need to make a small batch and not try to figure out how to divide your 42oz soap mold. Unlike all the 42oz molds sold this little thing is thicker than they are. May need a small cardboard box to hold sides together as this one does not come with the wooden outer partI highly recommend this mold

If you want to make 1 pound soaps, this is your product. Yes, it’s stiff, but it unmolds easy. If you can break the seal at the bottom it will slide right out. I use 1 T in salt just to make sure it’s solid in 24hrs. I didn’t have experience bowing because I put it in another container with lid and surround it with towels.

I am new to soap making and I am happy to have found this smaller loaf mold. It has helped me test and learn without wasting tons of ingredients in larger loaf molds or being limited to individual bar molds. The volume size is 1-1.25 lbs and with a normal cut, 5-6 bars. I am going to buy another one!

J’en ai coupé 5, d'une taille convenable.C’c'est plus délicat à démouler qu'un grand moule, c'est assez rigide mais un tour au congélateur, ça aide.Je suis contente de cet achat et je recommande.

Ich war es leid immer die Tetra packs zu nehmen. Süße kleine, handliche silikonform für Naturseifen. Die Seife rausholen, war etwas tricki aber ich wartete die vollen 48 std ab und es klappte daraufhin sehr gut. Aufjedenfall bestelle ich noch eine.

This is a fab little mould - ideal for small or test batches (i used it for soap). It is quite sturdy for a silicone mould and the sides bowed only very little when I used it; certainly not enough that it would matter if you were to use it for soap you wanted to sell .

I made soap with the mold and it definitely held up. The walls of the mould are quite thick and sturdy. The only downside is that it’s not perfectly square as one of the walls tends to bend inwards.
