Once we FINALLY figured out how to get these on our wifi network, they are great for the price. They aren't quite as versatile as Philips Hue bulbs, but they are much less expensive so I am very happy with them. The function to dim and brighten them has a lot of versatility. It is great how dim you can get them if you want to. I bought these because I wanted a color changing bulb that had more colors than the typical cheap RGB LED bulbs out there. This bulb doesn't disappoint!...The color range is very impressive and I was able to get every intermediate mixed tone I tried for. The only color that isn't right is the warm white. It is a strange pink tone and yet still seems overly white. It just can't replicate the warm color of a traditional light bulb. I also like that you can select all the bulbs individually to change their colors or brightness... not like using a traditional remote that will interfere with whatever bulbs are in the range of the remote.FYI about Connecting the bulb to WiFi if you have a dual frequency router (one that has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz): (You will be directed to setup this bulb using the company's iPhone/ Android App) This bulb ONLY works with 2.4 GHz and if your phone is like our iPhones, they will choose to connect to your wifi with 5 GHz automatically! During the setup process in the app, the bulb connects through whatever GHz frequency your phone uses to connect to your wifi.... Meaning, if your phone is connected to your wifi using the 5 GHz frequency, then the bulb will fail to connect every time you attempt to set it up.... for some reason, it can't see the 2.4 GHz frequency unless your phone is connected using that frequency. We had to go into our modem's settings and tell my phone to connect using 2.4 GHz. After we figured that out, the setup process was a success.These were worth the hassle.

Was a bit skeptical, but having just spent damn near a grand on hue lights, I didn't feel like spending The 50$ a bulb again for my condo too. These are 17$ a bulb and while the app isn't as fully featured as the hue app the basic things like changing colors and scheduling times work flawlessly. Just be sure to log into your 2.4ghz wifi network instead of 5ghz like you would to set up most smart devices. I use it with my echo show and it can change to most normal colors including teal and magenta and the like. I'm very very satisfied especially at less than half the cost of a hue bulb and no bridge required.Oh and to make a group, go into an individual bulb and click the three dots, the option is there.

Works well with Alexa and through the app. there are a few steps before Alexa will discover. you need to download the app and register, setup the bulb and enable the skill THEN discover and all the functions will be there (i.e. change colors and dimming, etc. There are other functions for scenes and timers on the SmartLife App. Still trying to figure out if I can save a color and name it so I can tell alexa to change to that specific color.

So... it works very good.. and can pretty much do everything with voice...using Google Assistant. .. Have not tried Alexa with this but I assume it will work the same way.Few things that prevented me from giving it a 51. Could have had a few more lumens - 800 would have been right.2. Soft white does not show up as the right color - Still too white... something wrong there.3. Although Description and question / answers state you can set this up for IFTTT control, they don't show up in the list of devices to control for Smart Life when creating an IFTTT applet for Smart Life trigger. Not sure why that is and who has been able to make it work. Would like to know.

I love how versatile these bulbs are for the money. Anything similar in capability costs twice as much. Great color range and dimming capability. I bought these specifically for my amazon dot to control my lights by voice; which works very well. The biggest drawback is that the yellow color, which is essential for recreating a natural incandescent bulb warm tone, has a strange green tinge to it. The closest remedy I have found is to set the bulbs to an orange-yellow to get rid of the green, and then set coolness in the app to 70%. This gets pretty close to a regular bulb. The other thing is the bulb has a very small cap at the top which limits the distribution of light a lot. If you have them in a lamp shade, not a lot of light is dispersed horizontally outwards. For the money though, would still recommend. Very cool to play around with and impress guests.

I was skeptical about these bulbs but figured I would give them a try at the low price they were offered. I have since ordered more and couldn't be more pleased! I am using them for special effect and wall wash lighting in our church and they work great! I have four of them mounted in floor lamps, and six more mounted in inexpensive reflector fixtures fastened to wood blocks screwed to the stage. The only issue I had was getting the Smart Life App to share bulb groups with other control devices, but after an update today, that even works great! Rarely does an item exceed my expectations but these bulbs and the controller App most certainly have, I will be ordering more.

UPDATE:They sent me a replacement bulb after my last review. This company really cares about their customers and their satisfaction. I’m so happy with this product.Took awhile to figure out the set up, but I eventually figured it out. It works great. Only problem I have is when I try to change my lights to a red color, it turns all of them red except one. But that’s probably on my end, not the bulbs themselves.
