The instructions didn't make a great deal of sense but it was simple to install. Finding the instructions to change the RF output to ON took a few minutes but that was fine. Unfortunately the picture was AWFUL and you couldn't control the TV with the Sky remote. Having done some searching I realized I needed even more bits to buy to make it work. I already had an amplifier in the loft installed when we moved in but it wasn't one that came with an additional PSU. So I purchased the Global F120 and the PSU for it. Still had a lousy picture but the remote control was working. Changed the RF output channel, rescanned the TV and now we have a perfect picture.It's possible changing the RF channel with the original amp might have improved the picture but I didn't try it as everywhere I'd read said you needed a PSU.

I recently replaced my old Sky HD+ box with a failing hard drive with the new 2TB model, which does not have an RF out socket. This little box connects to the IO port at the back of the new box and provides a working RF out to a TV elsewhere in the house. Make sure you read the instructions carefully as some people seem to have a problem getting them to work. Once I'd followed them and enabled the RF out power, I had a working signal.

So this was purchased for my mum who only 2 years ago paid Sky £120 to run cable around her property so she can have a second screen, only to be told they wanted another £25 for this device after her HDBox died. Great Service...thankfully Amazon and BUYME are around to assist. And not only does the product work but for once the instructions are clear and accurate. Can't fault this. Sky engineer told me that these are 1/2 price compared to the Sky supplied but are exactly the same. That's a result!

To all the people had problems with this, you must be doing something wrong. I had a new sky hd box installed and was told by the Sky installer man that I would need to purchase another box if i needed the Magic Eye to work. Not true. All I needed was this little device. It plugs straight into the back of the new sky hd box, you then plug your magic eye directly into the 'RF out' port. To acess the correct menu in the Sky screen just search around in Google. you'll find something that helps you.

Works not much to say

I could not get this one to work at all with my new Sky+ HD box. Tried different things, and had some helpful edvice from the seller whose support was excellent. But no joy, so I returned it and got a full refund. I then got a Triax which was more expensive but worked first time.

Bought this item to complete magic eye set up for new sky hd box with no rf output. Worked straight out of the box the instructions were easy to follow and I am now enjoying full sky tv in a second room. Would recommend this to anyone.

The product worked fine, plugged it in and we now have Sky working in the bedroom....Thanks.
