ASICSWomen's Gel-Venture 6 Running-Shoes

i do like asics products, but i really like this shoe. i have plantar fasciitis and these shoes do not aggravate the condition. i usually walk 4 miles a day, carrying 3# weights and don't ever have any pain in feet, ankles or legs. have been wearing them for several months and absolutely love them, great quality and very comfortable shoes.

Comfy, light, well-constructed and attractive, and I know they are durable because I've have had them for 7 months and washed them in the washing machine more than a few times. Recommended. I'm wearing them now!

These tennis shoes have done even better for me than Nike and adidas. They are particularly fantastic for wider feet like mine and so comfortable and supportive. They still haven’t worn out and I wear them at least 5days a week!

I knew these didn't come in narrow and what I needed was narrow. I bought them because I needed shoes as all of mine were destroyed from very dangerous debris clean up after a tornado. I have feet that are actually thinner than the narrow width but at the time there weren't many options to pick from for narrow 9.5 feet in brands that work for me that would also accommodate needing to remove the insole for orthotics. Asics DOES have a removable insole and that was the deciding factor in my taking a leap of faith and purchasing medium width shoes. They also look cool and it's rare to get cool looking shoes if you're a 9.5 narrow. Generally you just get what is available. I typically wear brooks. But at the time there were none available in the size I needed and I didn't want to pay a huge amount of money on shoes that weren't narrow. These shoes were cheap enough to try the wrong width and my shoe situation was getting rather desperate so I went for it. It was a mistake for me. I just wore them around the house for one day and at first I thought it was going to work. However, the next day I needed a chiropractor. That's on me for taking a leap of faith and I fully admit that. These shoes screwed up my hips and back quickly. My posture basically collapsed in on itself. So if you have narrow feet, don't be a fool like me and risk it--no matter the situation-- as paying for a chiropractor will only make your quest for shoes more expensive. BUT if you do not have narrow feet but need a shoe with removable insole, these could be worth a try for you. But I do recommend as they are synthetic shoes you wear a natural fiber cotton sock because these shoes get hot and I can easily see them causing odor because while mesh--they do not breathe much at all. I did not test this out as I didn't go outside in the heat with these shoes. I returned them and was reimbursed without any problems and returning them was easy.

I stand on a concrete floor 8 hours a day, 4 days a week and my feet, angles, knees and hips were having a very tough time of it. I was buying Sketchers for a long time cause that was the only shoes that seemed to ease my pain but they didn't work for long. My co-worker was wearing these Asics and bragging on how good they were so I asked to try one on and My God! what a difference! I just had to have a pair and now I have no problems! These shoes have wonderful support and shock absorption, absolutely fantastic! These are the only shoes I will ever buy from now on! Great Job!

The shoe feels sturdy and the laces can be snugged up to get a firm hold on the foot. Since I am recovering from a very badly broken ankle, the surgeon recommended wearing a supportive, stable shoe like this running shoe. I had a pair before and I really liked them. I decided to add this pair to get a different colour, perhaps a little more stylish than my everyday pair. This pair of shoes is to be worn 'just for good'.
