LagunaPowerJet 2000 Electronic Fountain/Waterfall Pump Kit for Ponds Up to 4000-Gallon

Wow, what great pumps and energy efficient. Best gph is the 2400 Laguna at 28.57gph per watt used - 84 watts for 2400gph. Note: On my 18 year old 2000 gallon KOI Pond, I replaced my third pump, 1800gph 145 watt pump and my 36W UV light filter pump using 45 watts which is set at 250gph to kill free floating parasites, bacteria, and algae with 2 LAGUNA 2000gph fountain/waterfall pumps since price was right. Now I use only 160 watts versus the 190 watts using before and my waterfalls are twice the amount. Also I now have added a BALL fountain off one pump and the rest goes into my 150 gallon Skippy's bio filter. This pump is set on a timer to run only 14 hours a day. The second pump I use the fountain head exit piped to my 36 watt UV Light filter at a controlled rate of 250gph and also rest goes into the 150 gallon Skippy's bio filter making twice the water over the two falls I have. Now, I have more water thru the bio filter and over the two waterfalls with just one pump at only 80 watts and at 160 watts 2.2 times amount of water flowing. Another great feature is I use the backwash cleaner head, PT609 with the PT637 garden hose connector for pond make up water from my well connected directly. All you have to do is take the knockout plugs off the side of cage to mount above parts. Now when I put make up water in pond it cleans the plastic cage holes fairly well weekly and I only so far had to brush cage openings once this summer. Beautiful waterfalls - love the sound at night and love the ball fountain head - bonus love the reduced cost to operate and the two separate control valves are included for fountain and waterfall are built right into the the main valve.

I purchased the Laguna PowerJet High Performance Fountain/Waterfall Pump Kits (2400 gallons per hour circulation.) This kit contain everything you need to generate powerful water circulation and beautiful water display features, including a powerful PowerJet water circulating pump, riser stem and two fountainheads. The pump does not require foam cartridges since it sits inside a cocoon-like cage that blocks out dirt and debris and protects the pump from clogging. However, if you have fish in the pond, as I do, you will still need to clean the pump from time to time. This is a great pump which does not use an enormous amount of electricity to run. This pump is easy to install and featuring Click-Fit Fast Couplings the pump is completely submersible and engineered to run continuously. Laguna PowerJet 2400 is for ponds up to 4800 US Gallons and includes an outlet adaptor with a diameter of ¾", 1", 1 ¼".

I think it's a pump that's not bad for its price. It is also good to be able to use it for water flow and fountain. But fractions can really bother you. There are many cases where various foreign matters block the holes because the holes coming out are too small. When I wake up the next day, when I go out, the shape of the fountain I set is always changing, and some holes are blocked, so the water comes out stronger through the other holes. I think it's a good pump except for this

Recently purchased this (2000 gph) to replace a cheaper pump/filter all in one. The water flow is wonderful and I don't have a problem with it clogging yet. I wish the fountain arm was longer though. I like to sit the pump in the deepest part of my pond (1000 gallon give or take) which is about 2 1/2 feet deep maybe. With the pond full, the fountain cannot be seen, so I will be working on a mod for that. It provides water flow to an outside filter then to a water fall and the flow is perfect. It's quiet and somewhat light, so it does want to move a bit in the pond. I have not added any more fish (after an algae control killed them) but since I added this pump after emptying my pond, both the pump and filter have kept my water clear with no algae, which is more than I can say about the previous setup I had. Installation was quick and easy, didn't need to look at the instructions. I'd definitely recommend this pump before any other inexpensive ones, especially if your just a beginner.

I used to think Laguna had to be quality. They are like THE NAME in pond pumps. This one was the second Laguna brand pump that's died in me inside of 90 days. The last one was a 500$ 4200GPM which the seller and azon gave me no assistance with. This one is much more affordable. It only pumps filtered water. Woke up this morning the pump is burned out. Won't turn on. There isn't anything blocking the impeller.I purchased this pump and a pump/filter kit at the same time telling myself to take a full measure and here I am less than 2 months in a head wave with no sufficient way to airate this portion of my pond. This pump is a great value. Reliable, quite and long lasting. It comes with the attachments to create a fountain or water bell - your choice. The pump sits within a two piece clamshell design with the clamshell acting as both protection for the pump and a strainer to prevent larger pieces of debris and muck from damaging the pump. Four plastic bibs turn with a screwdriver to disassemble the clamshell protector. Hose off the shell, reinsert the pump, turn the bibs and reconnect your fountain head and water outlet and you are done. Sure you will spend a bit more than the no name brands but we had zero issues last time and I’d rather pay a few dollars more and have peace of mind and reliability. Facto in your instant water bell or fountain and thus guy actually becomes a great value!

I thought the pump was terrific while it worked, but it only lasted from late spring to fall of a single year. I am unfortunately having to replace it the following season. I wish the lifespan of pond pumps was a little longer, as I bought a house in which a small water feature was made the key feature of the yard, but they seem to have a limited life span. However, the pump worked very nicely and was very nice to look at while it was working. I do like the shape of this pump better than the lightweight, rectangular shape of the original pump that came with the house, as this style pump does not flip over while it is running and stays in place.

We would highly recommend this one. Value for the price , easy to clean

A replacement for my old 1350 gph Laguna pond pump that I bought in June of 2000. (Yes the old one lasted that long.) Only this one is twice as powerful and comes with a protective clamshell casing and a larger, better set of attachments than my old one had as you can see in my first photo. The riser tube on the right can swivel and extend to twice the length so it's pretty sweet.The quality of construction is excellent except for one of the four plugs that hold the clamshell housing together which was broken with the spring and end piece rattling around inside the housing and screw part loose in the box. So I'm using a simple twist tie to hold the rear of the clamshell together which works fine so no big deal. Everything else is fine.As for performance it's great with 30% of the flow going to the water bubble and 70% going to my big Laguna external filter box which you can see hidden next to the right hand statue in the last two photos. Makes a nice display at night with the red illumination coming from an old floating pool light directly above the pump which sits on a small plastic drink table sitting on the bottom of the pond and I've extended the height of the water bubble with two extensions from my old Laguna which fit perfectly! So I'm happy. Yes, I'd definitely buy again.
