My new primary HT
I wasn't sure about buying this as a primary ht, but I wanted DMR. Well after buying it and programing it, I love it and carry it with me at all times! It works better than my more expensive analog HT's plus I love how it can not only work on ham bands but also is made to work on the commercial band so I can use it at work PLUS I can keep in touch with the family on our GMRS repeater when they are out and about! It does it all! Plus it has a VFO mode which is very handy when you need to jump to an unfamiliar frequency on the go like I almost always end up doing at hamfests. And being password protected just makes me feel safer in case it ends up in the wrong hands.

My Go To Radio
This is my first Anytone radio and since than I have purchased another one from BridgeCom...The radios came quickly and once we figured out the CPS software it is a breeze to make changes...and the use of Zones in DMR also works great in Analog...I liked to place all of the club repeaters in one zone and the linked repeaters in another zone...also I have zones for nearby cities...I have recommended this radio to other New hams and they have ordered them...I really like the Dual Band and Analog/DMR ...I use to car 2 radios but now just 1...can't recomnded it enough

Well-built radio with good RX/TX quality
This Anytone does not feel cheap, has a nice feel in the hand, not too heavy bot not too light either. Reception and transmittion by far surpass cheaper HTs like Baofengs (no surprize here!). Good quality of audio, both analog and digital modes. Quite easy and intuitive to program. All in all - well worth its price!

Great value for a well made useful amateur or commercial handheld radio.
The 868 is well constructed and seems to operate very well on DMR. The programming software is more intuitive than the other brands I have used in the past and the ability to add contact information for 100k amateur callsigns is amazing. I liked this radio so well I bought the 878 model a few weeks later.
