Hiwow 5FT Heat Sleeve Fiberglass Adjustable Heat Shield Sleeve Black Color (5FT X 6MM(1/4''))

I bought this to re-insulate the cracked insulation on my 40 year old battery cables. Nice tight weave, uniform color, matches the 6mm version I bought for some other wires exactly. It expands a bit, then goes right back to its nominal size. Should work perfectly with a small band of marine heat shrink at each end.

Bought to use with push lock hose for boost controller it fit right over just a little thinner then I expected

Used this to re-route a fixed steel heater line with Gates Green Stripe rubber hose (an odd "pesky" heater hose workaround for my 80 series). Slid this over the Gates hose to provide extra protection from engine heat. Fit great. Quality was great. Very happy I added this layer of protection - and the black lets it hide in the engine bay like any other hose.

Product was more than sufficient to sheathe my 1/0 AWG auto wiring upgrade all 5 ft was used with some used on other outlying systems.My engine bay runs hotter than most and so far the cable shows no heat damage.

I couldn't find insulated wire covers anywhere. I was excited when I found this on Amazon. Fast delivery and was exactly as expected, I used this to cover the wires on the replacement igniter on my gas oven. I only needed about 6 inches, so will have some for other projects.

Ran the power cable to the starter , placed this shield over the cable to protect the value. Length was good, easy to run the 4gauge wire through. Used gloves to handle while cutting and installation. Would recommend if you need some heat protection on your cables.

THis is a great product an can be cut to the proper length for each spark plug boot/wire. I have Stainless Steel Racing headers which would incinerate anything close to them. THis product had my boots and wires looking like new even after 18 months of use!

good price for the length works great so for keep gas away from it though got some on a section by accident and it just eat right through it
