Great starter
Nice but the inside and outside edges are different so you need to cut the ends on an angle. Not a real problem, but added work that could be avoided.

Odd size needed and it fits
Whoever said that studs are 16 inches apart is a liar on an exterior wall. Some of the studs in my bathroom exterior wall were 12 inches apart and some were 14 inches apart but none 16 inches. This came in handy after running to Lowe’s, Home Depot and Floor and Decor several times trying to find one that actually fit the 12 in studs without having to add additional 2x4s. Now after looking at the finished product in the shower, I should have ordered 2.

We have used this product many time but this one came very thin and flexible so will not hold tiles on the back

Inside of box is like that for a reason. Need to have a pitch on it so water runs back out... They work jus fine
