My second Day Hiking Pack
I have already a day hiking pack similar to this one, and for the quality and cost of this one, i must say i am very impressed with the quality and how much it can hold and carry, and it is very comfortable and easy to adjust for short or tall people. Great shoulder straps, and the back cushions are very ergonomic and comfortable, and helps with sweating o your back causing it less perspiration so the pack will not stick so closely to your body when climbing or hiking up steep trails. This is perfect as my secondary pack for when i want to camp out at night; use this pack for my sleeping bag and tent; clothes on my back, my cooking and first aide supplies fits all perfectly, so if i decide to camp, i can switch out this pack for an overnight camping, and great cost for this quality pack. I casually hike and camp monthly so this works best for me.

“Reliable, Rugged, and Ready for the Unknown”
“Reliable, Rugged, and Ready for the Unknown”For its price, this pack truly held its weight—literally and figuratively. While it’s not a high-end professional backpack, it got the job done and then some. With the included rain cover secured over the bottom compartment, it held up well in wet conditions.I managed to board a flight with this pack fully loaded—small sleeping bag, single-person tent, compact stove, waterproof jacket, and a pair of jeans. No issues at all. Once on the trail, I tested it over a 9-mile volcanic hike (twice, actually—up and down!), and it carried everything I needed with comfort and ease.I’m not a seasoned hiker, but after a 22-mile trek through some seriously rugged terrain, I can confidently say I’d use this backpack again in a heartbeat. It’s got plenty of zippered pockets, smart storage, and just enough hooks and loops to strap on the essentials for deep journeys into the unknown.Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

Functional 3.5
Pros- came with a rainfly to cover it (was buried deep at the bottom most pocket, so I didn't notice until the bag was already wet and I felt something rectangular at the bottom of the bag not in the main compartment; it's bright orange)- fairly light- nice amount of pockets- comfy shoulder strapsCons- the very front pocket ripped at the zipper seam on the first use (not huge and not in a critical location, so still useable)- main pocket is a bit slim so when I put a 3 day bear can in it, its hard to fit anything around it/balance weight. there's also no good spot to put a bear can aside from inside the bag (ie no straps to secure it to). basically if you intend to take a bear can be aware that the shape of the main pocket might make it hard to pack- I have a small/petite body frame (lower end of 5ft range) so the body straps were not able to tighten small enough for me. it got close though, just not tight enough to be comfortable over a long backpacking tripOverall:Even in spite of my Cons the bag works fine for me for short trips (especially at the price point). It would work better for someone a bit taller and who is willing to get creative with bear cans. For me personally it's more of a 3.5 star item

Lots of pockets
Bought this for my son who is an avid hiker and camper. He has used this multiple times and likes all of the pockets it has for quick access to items he needs on the trail. Plenty of room to carry his overnight supplies.

Excellent backpack for the money
I just finished an overnight hike in Yosemite National Park (only 900 feet of gain). This backpack is excellent for the price point. I’m 6’2” 195 lbs (21” torso) and it fits fine, adjusts easily for the trail, is comfortable. It’s well made, has good zippers and straps. The buckles held up well under stress. If you can’t find the included rain fly, look carefully at the very outside bottom for a hidden zipper compartment. I highly recommend it as a beginner pack. My biggest recommendations are go as lightweight as possible on the gear! This is critical for your enjoyment on the trail. Buy the light weight tent, light weight sleeping bag or sleeping quilt coupled with an excellent sleeping pad (critical). Don’t take extras, just the absolute essentials. You don’t need a bear canister (saves weight ) if you hike to a back country campsite that has bear lockers. Watching online videos on lightweight backpacking gear helps. I’m doing another hike Tuesday with 2400 feet elevation gain, difficulty terrain and the weight is critical. I hate to leave my fancy hiking chair behind, but it’ll have to go. All the little items add up to a heavy pack. Go light and have fun out there. It’s hard to believe they can even make a pack this nice for this price. Amazing!

Great product
Great product to use, durable, good performance, high quality, and easy to use. Great value, perfect fit! Easy to carry, water resistant. Kept my stuff dry in heavy rain fall. Get comfortable and easy to adjust. Highly recommend this product.

Good price and good quality
The media could not be loaded. I got this backpack thinking it would come with a rain cover, but it didn’t so I while I was packing my backpack fell over and I saw that zipper and I unzipped it and I saw the rain cover

Not bad, could be better.
Took a 9 day trip to Alaska and used it everyday as carry on and hiking Lots of room and everything stayed dry in light rain. Packed multiple layers of clothes and rain jackets. 2 big downers. 1) waist strap is difficult to adjust, to many moving straps. 2) the straps don't stay, while hiking the shoulder straps contually loosened and had to be re tightened. Annoying on a long hike to have the straps coming loose putting extra stress on your body. I think it is solid for the price point but I will be looking for a replacement pack.
