Q: We have one room (furthest from the router, several walls inbetween) with bad wifi signal. Would one of these in that room improve the signal?

If you have several walls between the router and the room with bad wifi, you would be better off, putting this half way between. It needs to be able to pick up the signal from the main deco router in order to pass it on.

Q: Does this support PoE

If you mean PPPoE, then yes it does, you can use as a stand-alone router, or as just wifi.

Q: Can i connect this to my bt router to boost wifi out to my garden shed?

In theory, yes. Depends how far your shed is from the house. We can get a signal about 30 to 40 feet from the house, through the conservatory. These are intended for use instead of your existing WiFi
