Quality Accessible Storage
I bought a camper van and needed some additional storage, particularly easy to access storage. I also wanted it to be durable. I found several options on gear for vans, like Aluminess, but the cost was very steep. Yeti boxes also seemed over priced. This box fit my requirements exactly and it fits perfectly in my trailer hitch cargo carrier. Things that I need right away, like power chords, hoses, and levelling blocks are quickly available for fast set up when we get to camp. It has two lock locations for security. This is way better than the Rubbermaid type camp boxes and much more affordable than specialty boxes,

Can't have enough OVS storage.
This is the second OVS dry storage box I have purchased, the first one, a 95qt. that I mounted on my Venture Overland Campers XTR trailer. I mounted this one to the Victory 4x4 rack on my 2008 Tacoma. Since OVS does not provide a mounting kit, I simply bolted it down to the rack. The only issue I have is that the latches are difficult to open. A fix for that is in the works.

Well built. Will last a long time
Solid construction. Definitely built well and will last a long time. Perfect size for the bed of my short bed pickup. I have a tonneau cover so the hanging storage boxes were not an option. This offers great waterproof storage space. The clasps on the front are sturdy and well made. I do not anticipate any issues with this storage box for as long as I own it. The only thing I would change is to add rubber feet to the bottom so that it does not slide around so easily in the bed of the truck. I used a bungy strap to secure it. The box does have indented locations for straps to lay and stay nicely.

Box seems good, but latches are not.
Overall I am happy with the box. I knew I would be drilling holes and mounting to my roof rack, so I didn't want a high dollar one. I am completely dissapointed in the latch mechanism. It seems sturdy enough, but NO way to get your fingers under it to pull it, I have to carry a small tool with me to flip them up. Surprised that I'm the first I have seen to complain about that.

Great Overland Boxes
High quality and absolutely leak proof. I mounted one to my roof, and one to my hitch carrier for a 2700 mile trip and these boxes performed flawlessly. they have multiple spots to run straps through while still keeping a watertight seal, and I could also padlock the corner for extra security. I used one as a racoon proof food box at my camp site once we were at our destination.

MUST READ BEFORE BUYING! PRODUCT CAUSED INJURY!
This company and product are AWFUL! I purchased these bins and upon the first use I CUT my fingers on the latch and bled on the container. I requested to return the bins due to the defective product and it was accepted. Upon the return of the money, they notified me of a 50%!!!!! restocking fee. WHY!! Why are they restocking a product that is defective and has my blood on it? GROSS!! I reached out to the company to express my concern and the fact that they kept $250!! The company has responded once and said it was policy. I responded again, stating that the product has my BLOOD on it and asked again why they would restock it and charge ME a fee for this. They are now not letting me even reach out and no other responses have been provided.HORRIBLE PRODUCT, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A DISGUSTING COMPANY. DO NOT BUY THESE BINS

It’s a dandy - alternate installation for teardrop trailer
Recently purchased a used Timberleaf Kestrel - it didn’t have a roof rack or tongue box. From the start I didn’t want rooftop storage. That kills aerodynamics and gas mileage. And….per the reviews…diamond plate tongue boxes were all so thin they’d double as aluminum foil to roast chicken. This ultra-beefy box fit the bill when installed on the tongue with 2 HD U-bolts. A super clean, hidden install; my front jack wheel even tucks neatly below the dry box when swung back. Before you drill. Find the sweet spot on the tongue where the box stays open when lifted, and the tow vehicle’s tailgate still has room to fully swing out. Position the box closest to the back as possible to avoid any jackknife possibilities. When you drill. Your holes won’t be square to the box. Instead you’ll be matching the perpendicular of the tongue frame. Your holes in the box will be angled accordingly. It makes a super strong mounting, and you don’t have to drill into the trailer frame. There’s a flat section in the front of the box that avoids the built-in ribs - that’s where I drilled. Just 2 U-bolts- 4 would be overkill.

Decent but over priced
The container is a thicker blow molded case similar to that of the more expensive options. The latches feel solid when new with a thick rubber seal to keep weather out. The case costs less than bigger names but it’s still over priced. The drain plug is junk so don’t try and use it as a cooler it won’t last. For some reason it also lacks tie downs anywhere on the outside which essentially makes it useless as a truck box. I had to use a strap around the outside just to keep it from sliding around while driving. That makes it a pain because it’s not easily moved. If it wasn’t $100 less than everyone else I would probably send it back. Just know what you are getting and what you will use it for before buying.
