Clever Creations Wooden Christmas Advent Calendar, Countdown to Christmas, LED Holiday Decoration, Battery Operated, Santa Village

I wanted an advent calendar for my toddler that could be reused and become part of a holiday tradition; this provided that and so much more. These calendars are incredibly beautiful. My toddler begs us to take them down so he can stare at them and admire the lights, buildings, and figures. The goodies in the drawers are less exciting than the calendars themselves, which are an absolute delight.I ended up with two because I was unsure which one I wanted. I figured I'd get both, see which one worked best for us, & send the other back. When they arrived they were so much more beautiful and functional AND decorative than I'd hoped that I decided to keep both. I regret nothing.The drawers on the shooting star one are quite small, but still large enough for small coins, tiny toys or a "Hershey's kiss" sized candy. The drawers on the other one are significantly larger.The calendars look fragile but are well put together. My toddler has explored every bit of every figurine 500x already and everything has stayed intact -- so far -- but some care definitely has to be used. They wouldn't survive rough handling for long.. They were packed well, and I kept the boxes for storage, as I hope to enjoy these for many, many years to cone.These calendars are pure Christmas magic and a delight to behold.

This is an adorable advent calendar with wooden drawers. It lights up and would fit perfectly on a fireplace mantel or table, wherever you have a flat surface. The drawers are small but can hold items like chocolate kisses, wrapped small candy, rings, elastic bracelets, marbles... I gave it to my daughter as a gift for her and her baby daughter. She thought the drawers did not come out and had trouble getting the items out of the drawer so they stopped using it. When I visited a few weeks before Christmas I discover you must lift up on the front of the drawer as you pull it out to allow it to get past the lip that holds it in place. It works beautifully and all my daughter could say is "Dah!" I would definitely buy this again!

I am extremely happy with this advent calendar that I got for my 3 year old granddaughter. It is beautiful and very magical, especially with the lights on at night. The attention to detail is great and there is so much to look at. I expected it to be a bit flimsy and that the painted details would be a little messy here and there, but I was surprised by how relatively sturdy it is and how well painted it is. It came assembled and nothing was broken. You can't see in the pictures but there are patches of glittery snow laid down on the top. The little drawers are the perfect size for little hands. My granddaughter loved opening one each day and peeking in to see what there was inside. I put little ornaments in the drawers and got a little tree for her to put them on, which she loved. I am super pleased with this product and highly recommend it!

I hardly ever write reviews for items I buy on Amazon but felt compelled to write one for this advent calendar. I hesitated buying this at first because it’s not exactly “cheap” and some of the reviews indicated that pieces were broken on arrival, doors didn’t slide open, etc. However, when I received this item I was pleasantly surprised. It is absolutely beautiful and looks like something I would have bought in Europe. The craftsmanship is really quite impressive for the price. At night when it’s lit up, it’s even more charming. I have gotten several compliments on the calendar already.A few of the doors did stick. I suspect it’s because of the glue used in assembly. However, with several pushes and pulls back and forth I was able to work out the “catch”, and all of the doors open easily now. The compartments are fairly small, too. I was able to fit two Hershey kisses with only a little room to spare.Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase, and I would definitely buy this again as a gift!

It's beautiful and the scene on top is very elegant. Some others have a scene on the top where the characters look like their from a creepy toy shop in an old-school horror movie, these are more classic/timeless.The boxes are small (think 1 Hershey kiss, or Lindt truffle, or Recees bell) but it's meant for a small treat so I guess it's good for our purpose.

I am so thrilled with this statement making addition to my Christmas traditions! My first advent calendar. It was packaged well and came in excellent condition with warnings on the package on all four sides that it is "extremely fragile" while being shipped. It far surpassed my expectations and I love how well thought out the background lighting is along with only needing 2 AA batteries. The details to the scenes were a surprise! It even has felt feet to protect the furniture. Just a detail that speaks well of the company.I first saw it displayed in a Lifetime Christmas movie scene :) and decided to search for one of my own not dreaming I would find the exact one. I did not realize how beautiful it would be when lit! This company offers several types to choose from but I loved this one the best!I read reviews before I ordered. I noticed that some people complained that something was broken or wrong yet this company enclosed a friendly note inside the box that offers a free, no hassle replacement if there is an issue. I appreciate that though mine was perfect. I intend on purchasing another for a gift! Good job Clever Creations! (I am a consumer with no ties to this company)

I absolutely love this piece. Great quality and beautiful attention to detail. It reminds me of many of the Christmas decorations I saw on my trip to Germany. It is a very lovely item.My only complaint is that some of the drawers are difficult to pull out. They are also on the small side so only little items can fit inside each drawer such as a Rolo or Hershey’s kiss. I love the way it looks when it is lit up at night. I look forward to getting this item out at Christmastime every year.
