this is a nice extension cord unit that comes with both usb-a and usb-c ports and three sockets and is designed to be fit into a recessed hole in a flat surface like a desk or a side/end table to provide easy to reach sockets.there is a nice lip around the edge of the unit to cover and minor variations in the cut-out recess and it attaches with two screws to hold it down in place so you don't pull it out by mistake when removing a plug for example. the screws are also provided.the cable runs from the bottom of the unit not the side (you'd be surprised how many flush mount power strips overlook this important aspect of the design) so you will not have any issues with the cable interfering with the installation into the hole.if you only need a couple of extra sockets and you want something more permanent than an extension cord flopping around the place I think this is a good buy. you may want something a bit larger if you were looking to use it for a computing setup on a desk though as 3 sockets might be a little limiting for you

This is a good recessed power socket with 3 UK plugs and 2 USB ports, providing a power source within reach.My kitchen plug-in problem (lack of sockets) is sorted thanks to this recessed power socket/extension lead. It allows me to plug 3 items safely into one socket, plus there's the advantage of two USB outlets for charging mobile phones, tablets and other USB devices.No more "wait until the kettle's boiled and then charge the phone" or "unplug the cooker ignition to charge the under cupboard unit lights"... Ridiculous, I know... but when they built this house 14 years ago, electricity had just been introduced to Wiltshire. This is exactly what I was looking for. My home office is like a jungle of cables at times, with monitor and PC power cables draped along the floor to my extension leads, and phone and tablet chargers plugged into my PC's USB ports. I have a new desk on order, and decided it's time to tidy things up a bit.This extension cable is recessed, so you can cut a relatively small hole in the top of your desk and fit this neatly inside it, with the edges covering any signs of the hole you just made. It comes with a couple of screws to attach it. With three sockets, a USB-C socket and a USB-A socket it should easily accommodate anything powered most people would wish to keep on a desk. It feels well manufactured, works as expected, and includes a power switch. The surge protection is also reassuring.Can't really pick any faults with this at all, it does exactly what you'd expect it to.

Really keen on this, such a nice and easy way to tidy up my desk! Good value of money ,great quality, work perfectly fine ,good cable lenght and well made 👌 very usefull and save up more space when the phoenix chargers.Happy to recommend, it's quite good and I am happy with it

£30 seems excessive compared to other power strips of the same price. The plastic is very thin and brittle, it certainly doesn’t feel like a quality item.

We installed this to the side of a filing cabinet in my husbands office. Looks a lot neater than an extension cable but doesn’t require wiring in. It’s a great product that was very easy to install and looks fantastic.” Inspection is a shame it feels very plastic. However, it works very well and my husband is very happy with it everything you needed included apart from a saw to cut the hole for it.
