Reliable and durable. Just not as strong as others
Easily the most durable and well built massager. But that is because it doesn't rattle itself to bits. From a performance point of view, it is doing as expected from two AA batteries, so wont have the power as a mains powered device, but for what it is, and how cheap it is, it is very good. My favourite massager so far, good for exfoliation, movelat gel, soles of feet or tendonitis, etc where you don't want something too heavy or if you have to be away from the mains.EDIT: 1 Year on (or so) and it is still working, no problems. I am changing the duracell batteries to rechargeable, and expect to get another years use out of it. But going to order another while it is at £7.50 just in case it failsEDIT 2: A few years on and I'm back to order some more (in case they stop making them which has been my frustration with a few other products, everyone seems to be trying to cut corners where possible, so I'm stocking up on things that have been a good purchase). About a year ago the slide button broke, but it was easy to take apart (one screw) and glue back together and I am still using the same one from EDIT 1. I've had two in total (one before that - nothing wrong with it but it did creek which was irritating. But all in all a really good massager. If you are expecting something like a professional thumper/deep tissue massager then you need mains power - but as I said before: expect those to rattle themselves to bits with heavy use or have sealed batteries or specific chargers that render the whole unit useless if they become damaged. I've had them all, they all have those weaknesses, or outright noise, including the professional ones. This is perfect for me and my autoimmunity issues (updated 25th August 2024).Also sidenote: I actually used this massager to test the durability of AA batteries after I disappointingly tried rechargeable, and I found disposable standard Duracell batteries the best, (averaged 623 minutes before they began to really lose power). I tried Energizer (Max and Max Plus), Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and 36 month+ old Energizer batteries I had in a drawer and they all scored respectively in order (761.47 [Max]; 538.91 [Max Plus]; 506.57 [Asda]; 521.94 [Morrisons]; 505.79 [Tesco] and 278.65 for the old Energizer). Completely unscientific, and yes the Energizer Max do outlast bog standard Duracell (Gold packets, not the industrial ones) but in my experience the Energizer cost more and the first 100-200 minutes is the window of the peak power you want, after that, the massager runs but you can tell it isn't as powerful. Duracell is a good all rounder. But it shows how much use I give this thing and it is small enough to take it with me everywhere and I've had very little muscle or joint paint since, and it is just the right amount of power not to hurt. People who give it negative reviews are expecting way too much from a £6-11 AA battery powered product. Not that many will care, but the packaging & ergonomics is really well done as well, all easy to recycle, or fix in my case (with regards to internals).

Good, but only for specific uses, and with some caveats.
This massager is cheap and cheerful and isn't going to compete with the huge ones that are 5 times the price, so if you want something with masses of power for deep tissue massage then this will be entirely pointless for you. In contrast, if you're struggling with surface tendon pain and don't want to spend a lot then this one did seem to help with surface issues (for me it was ankle tendons from running). It being significantly smaller is also a benefit when you want to store it. For a tenner I'm keeping it, but I accept it is very limited due to the lack of power (surface issues only). Also, the massage cups which attach to it are hard plastic which make then less than comfortable, silicone would have been nicer but that would have made it even less effective (the silicone would have damped the vibration so i understand why they used hard plastic).

Brilliant! Easy to use &
Nanny had Bells Palsy so this was promptly shipped to her and her granddaughter called her everyday to check she was using it.She liked the variety of massage heads and the ergonomic handle suited her arthritic grip.Couldn’t praise it enough and it’s worked wonders on her droopy face.

Really sized as a facial massager
Bought as I thought it would be handy. Did not have batteries to hand and then looking at it thought it would not do much. Will add to review once used.

Rubbish unfortunately
Do not buy. The mechanism breaks very quickly. I brought my last just over a month ago and already it doesn’t work.Very disappointed because it is a good product when it works.

Great value for money.
Was bought for £7.50 as a stocking filler for a family member at Christmas. They’ve used it every night after working 12 hour shifts. They’ve already said they’ve noticed a difference. They love it because it’s handy and easy to use, it’s quicker to use this than their massage chair. Very handy gadget for someone that’s always very busy for work and in pain. Great value for money!

Not good vibrations...
Product is easy to use, however not really powerful enough to help my bad shoulder. I feel more vibration in the hand holding it than the part of the device that is on me. Has not helped at all. Would not recommend.
